BRIEF
To create a new book cover design which clearly shows the themes and the messages behind the story of the book. The design should be clear to understand and attract a broad audience.
The concept behind my design was the create a digital paper cut effect illustration of a flood and the earth burning, along with the title of the book "The Uninhabitable Earth" by David Wallace-Wells drowning in the waves - suggesting climate change effects in the near future.
This book design was entered into Penguin Student Design Awards 2021, and although I was not the winner - I enjoyed the experience.
